Absence-Leave-Late Arrival In School

Parents and guardians will appreciate that absence during term time is not in the best interest of the student. They are asked not to apply for leave if it can be avoided, but in any case a proper leave application must be submitted. A student may be granted leave only on the following grounds:

In case of serious illness or death of a very close relative.

Attending the wedding of his brother/sister, uncle or aunt.

Any other occasion deemed fit by the school authorities

Leave will not be granted for more than four days.

A student absent on the previous day will not be allowed to attend class unless the parent completes a "Non-Absence Record" for each day absent from school stating the reason for the absence.

A student, returning to school after recovering from an infectious or contagious disease, should produce a doctor's fitness certificate allowing him to do so. Students suffering from the following diseases must observe the prescribed period of quarantine before returning to school.
